LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 29 (UPI) -- An 18-point effort by Chris Jones and a typically fierce defensive show Friday sent No. 9 Louisville storming to a 69-38 victory over Southern Mississippi.

The Cardinals held Southern Mississippi to just 13 points in the first half. The Golden Eagles shot a mere 29 percent from the field and turned the ball over 21 times.
