COL BKB: Indiana 77, Evansville 46

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Jeremy Hollwell came off the bench to lead 25th-ranked Indiana with 18 points Tuesday in the Hoosiers' 77-46 thrashing of Evansville.

Hollwell did his damage in just 17 minutes of court time, and the Hoosiers (6-1) dominated the rebounding totals 58-30.

Noah Vonleh registered 13 points and a dozen rebounds for Indiana. Kevin Ferrell finished with 10 points.

Indiana had difficulty getting out of first gear in the opening half, but led at the break 33-19 as Evansville (5-1) came out cold as well. The Purple Aces continued to sputter in the second half, scoring only nine field goals as Indiana pulled away.

D.J. Balentine led Evansville with 14 points and Duane Gibson scored 10. Evansville shot 29.1 percent from the field, compared to 40.7 percent for Indiana, and went 3-for-16 from 3-point range.
