LAHAINA, Hawaii, Nov. 25 (UPI) --
Baylor's Gary Franklin pumped in 22 points Monday and the 17th-ranked Bears cruised to a 93-77 victory over Chaminade at the Maui Invitational.
Franklin also supplied six rebounds and four assists as the Bears (5-0) romped to a first-round win at the Hawaii tournament.
Cory Jefferson and Kenny Chery each provided 15 points, and Brady Heslip came off the bench to add 14 for Baylor.
The Silverswords (2-1) lost despite 42 points from Christophe Varidel, who sank 10 three-pointers.
