DURHAM, N.C., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Rodney Hood pumped in 30 points Tuesday, igniting sixth-ranked Duke to an 83-74 win over East Carolina in a second-round NIT Season Tip-Off contest.

Jabari Parker contributed 21 points, rebounds and had six blocks for the Blue Devils (4-1), who now advance to the tournament semifinals next week in New York.

Quinn Cook notched a double-double of 14 points and 10 assists as Duke reeled off a 105th consecutive home win against non-conference opponents.

Eastern Carolina (4-1) was paced by Prince Williams with 15 points, five rebounds and six assists.

Antonio Robinson and Akeem Richmond each added 13 points.
