COL BKB: Ohio State 79, Ohio 69

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Aaron Craft netted 18 points Tuesday and ninth-ranked Ohio State survived a tough challenge from Ohio University, emerging with a 79-69 win.

The Buckeyes (2-0) were clinging to a 65-60 lead with 4 minutes left, but then outscored the Bobcats 9-4, capped by Lenzelle Smith Jr.'s 3-pointer off turnover by Ohio guard Shannon Scott.

Amir Williams scored 14 points and Sam Thompson added 12 for the Buckeyes.

The Bobcats (1-1) were led by 21 points each from Stevie Taylor and Nick Kellogg.
