BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Nov. 12 (UPI) --
Will Sheehey provided 19 points with seven rebounds Tuesday and No. 23 Indiana narrowly avoided an upset, hanging on to edge Long Island Brooklyn 73-72.
Noah Vonieh added 17 points to go with 11 rebounds and Yogi Ferrell also scored 17 for the Hoosiers (2-0), who only notched the win when LIU Brooklyn's Jason Brickman missed a running shot at the buzzer.
Troy Williams contributed nine points and six rebounds for Indiana.
Troy Joseph netted 16 points while Gilbert Parga and E.J. Reed struck for 15 apiece for the Blackbirds (1-1).
