ATHENS, Ga., April 15 (UPI) -- Georgia sophomore Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who was second in the SEC in scoring last season, said Monday he planned to hire an agent and enter the NBA draft.

Caldwell-Pope averaged 18.5 points a game last season and was voted the SEC's most valuable player by the league's coaches and media.

A 6-foot-5 guard, Caldwell-Pope also led Georgia in rebounds, averaging 7.1 a game. He averaged 13.2 points and 5.2 rebounds a game as a freshman.

"It's been a pleasure to coach Kentavious and to see him grow as both a player and a person," said Georgia Coach Mark Fox. "I wish him nothing but success as he pursues his dreams. He will always be a part of the Georgia family."
