NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- Kansas red-shirt freshman guard Ben McLemore and Indiana junior guard Victor Oladipo declared themselves eligible for the upcoming NBA draft Tuesday.

McLemore, a consensus second team All-America pick who is expected to be Top 5 overall selection in the June 27 draft, led the Big 12 champion Jayhawks in scoring with 15.9 points per game.

McLemore also racked up a 42 percent shooting mark from 3-point range, hitting 73-of-174 tries this season.

"I want to thank my teammates a lot for supporting me and always pushing me each and every day at practice," McLemore said. "I love those guys. It was great playing with those guys."

Oladipo, meanwhile, averaged 13.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 36 games for the Hoosiers, helping them to a regular-season Big Ten championship and a trip to the East Region semifinals of the NCAA Tournament.

"I just felt like this was best for my family," Oladipo said. "I feel like I'm prepared for it so I feel like it's the best thing ... . It's been a crazy three years."
