ARLINGTON, Texas, March 31 (UPI) -- Nik Stauskas struck for 22 points Sunday and fourth-seeded Michigan reached the NCAA Tournament Final Four with a 79-59 victory over Florida.

Stauskas went 6-for-6 from 3-point range and fellow freshman Mitch McGary provided 11 points and nine rebounds for Michigan (30-7), which reached the National Semifinal for the first time since 1993 -- a trip that was later voided due to NCAA violations.

Trey Burke delivered 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Wolverines, who cruised in the first half, leading by as many as 24 points, and were never seriously challenged in the South Region final.

Michigan will take on East Region champion Syracuse April 6.

Mike Rosario managed only nine points and Erik Murphy was held scoreless for the third-seeded Gators (29-8). Will Yeguete and Kenny Boynton each scored 13 for Florida.
