COL BKB: Providence 77, Robert Morris 68

PROVIDENCE, R.I., March 25 (UPI) -- LaDontae Henton netted 21 points Monday, propelling fourth-seeded Providence to a 77-68 win over Robert Morris in a second-round NIT contest.

Bryce Cotton added 20 points while Vincent Council finished with 12 points and 10 assists for the Friars (19-14).

Providence pulled away in the second half, shooting 57.9 percent from the floor and 18-of-22 from the free-throw line down the stretch.

They now travel to Waco, Texas, to take on second-seeded Baylor Wednesday.

Karvel Anderson came off the bench to tally 18 points while Russell Johnson (16) and Mike McFadden (14) also reached double figures for the eighth-seeded Colonials (24-11), who had stunned Kentucky in the NIT's first round.
