COL BKB: Colorado State 84, Missouri 72

LEXINGTON, Ky., March 22 (UPI) -- Dorian Green sparked a Colorado State surge early in the second half Thursday that launched the Rams to an 84-72 NCAA Tournament win over Missouri.

Colorado State's reward for the victory will be a Saturday meeting with Louisville, the No. 1 seed in the entire tournament and a 79-48 winner over North Carolina A&T earlier in the evening. The winner of that game will move on to the Midwest Region semifinals next week.

Green scored 26 points, going 11-of-12 from the foul line. Greg Smith and Jon Octeus both had 12 points for the Rams (26-8).

Colorado State had only a four-point lead 2 minutes into the second period, but during the next 6 minutes the Rams outscored the Tigers 19-6.

Missouri (23-11) turned the ball over just five times, but managed a mere three offensive rebounds.

The Tigers, who were the first of what will be only three Southeastern Conference teams to see action in this tournament, were led by Phil Pressey with 20 points.
