March 17, 2013 at 1:38 AM

LAS VEGAS, March 17 (UPI) -- Carlos Emory and Johnathan Loyd teamed up for 39 points Saturday, propelling Oregon over No. 25 UCLA 78-69 in the Pac-12 Tournament championship game.

Emory struck for 20 points, Loyd added 19 and Damyean Dotson had 13 as the Ducks (26-8) claimed their third Pac-12 title in school history and first since 2007.

Arsalan Kazemi contributed 12 points and 12 rebounds for Oregon.

Loyd's jumper with 12 minutes remaining turned back a Bruins rally and the Ducks cruised from there.

UCLA (25-9) got 14 points each from Shabazz Muhammad and Larry Drew II.

The Bruins fell short in a bid for their first Pac-12 title since 2008.
