COL BKB: N.M. State 64, Texas-Arlington 55

LAS VEGAS, March 17 (UPI) -- Sim Bhullar's double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds Saturday carried New Mexico State past Texas-Arlington 64-55 and into the NCAA Tournament.

Bhullar also blocked five shots.

Daniel Mullings added 16 points and six boards for the third-seeded and defending champion Aggies (24-10), who claimed the fourth Western Athletic Conference championship game in school history.

Bandja Sy also reached double figures with 10 points and six boards as New Mexico State improved to 17-4 all-time in WAC tournament play.

The fourth-seeded Mavericks (19-13) were paced by Kevin Butler's 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Karol Gruszecki added 11 points and Jordan Reves had 10 for Texas-Arlington, which reached the final in its first year in the WAC.
