GREENSBORO, N.C., March 16 (UPI) -- The 10th-ranked Miami-Florida Hurricanes will face North Carolina for the ACC Tournament championship after each took a semifinal victory Saturday.

In the day's first semifinal, Durand Scott poured in 32 points as the Hurricanes posted a 81-71 decision over North Carolina State.

Shane Larkin contributed 23 points and Julian Gamble scored 10 for the top-seeded Hurricanes (26-6), who led wire-to-wire.

Kenny Kadji contributed eight points and nine rebounds in Miami's win.

Scott Wood made six 3-pointers en route to 21 points for North Carolina State (24-10).

Meanwhile, Reggie Bullock and Dexter Strickland each posted 15 points as North Carolina held off Maryland 79-76 in the day's second semifinal matchup.

Bullock also grabbed nine rebounds for the Tar Heels (24-9), who won for the eighth time in nine games.

James Michael McAdoo helped out with 13 points and eight boards for North Carolina.

The Terrapins (22-12) were led by Alex Len with 20 points and seven rebounds.

Maryland also got five 3-pointers and 17 points from Nick Faust.
