STATE COLLEGE, Pa., March 10 (UPI) -- Traevon Jackson's long 3-pointer at the buzzer Sunday boosted 21st-ranked Wisconsin to 63-60 decision over Penn State in its regular season finale.
Jackson's decisive trey gave him 15 points for the game and Ben Brust added 13 as the Badgers (21-10, 12-6 Big Ten) finished the season on a positive note after dropping their previous two contests.
Jared Berggren donated a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds in the victory.
The Nittany Lions (10-20, 2-16) were led by Jermaine Marshall with 23 points.
D.J. Newbill added 22 points and five assists in the loss.
