PHILADELPHIA, March 10 (UPI) -- Khalif Wyatt poured in 30 points Sunday and Temple helped its NCAA Tournament chances with an 84-76 comeback victory over No. 19 Virginia Commonwealth.
The Owls (23-8, 11-5 A-10) were trailing by 16 points in the first half but Wyatt helped spark a rally, especially at the free throw line, where he sank 13-of-16 attempts.
Temple, which will be the fourth seed in next week's Atlantic 10 Tournament in New York, finished the regular season with seven straight wins.
The Rams (24-7, 12-4) were paced by Juvonte Reddic with 20 points and nine rebounds.
VCU missed a chance to claim a share of the A-10 crown with Saint Louis with the setback.
