COL BKB: Duke 69, North Carolina 53

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., March 9 (UPI) -- Mason Plumlee's 23 points and 13 rebounds Saturday powered fourth-ranked Duke over North Carolina 69-53.

Seth Curry helped out with 20 points as the Blue Devils (27-4, 14-4 ACC) closed out their regular season schedule with three straight wins.

Quinn Cook turned in an all-around performance of 12 points, five rebounds and five assists for Duke.

The Tar Heels (22-9, 12-6), meanwhile, had their six-game winning streak snapped despite 15 points from James Michael McAdoo.

P.J. Hairston also reached double figures with 14 points and six boards for North Carolina.
