BLOOMINGTON, Ind., March 6 (UPI) -- Deshaun Thomas scored 18 points and had eight rebounds Tuesday and led 13th-ranked Ohio State past No. 2 Indiana 67-58.
The win prevented the Hoosiers (25-5, 13-4 Big Ten) from clinching the Big Ten regular season championship and kept Ohio State (22-7, 12-5) in the hunt, one game behind Indiana with one regular season game to play.
Aaron Craft scored 15 points for Ohio State. Sam Thompson hit 4-of-5 shots for nine points.
Cody Zeller led Indiana with 17 points and Christian Watford added 12. The Hoosiers have lost two of their last three games and face No. 8 Michigan in their finale Sunday.
The Buckeyes led 28-25 at halftime and fell behind early in the second half. They reclaimed the lead on Evan Ravenel's layup with 12:03 to play as the Hoosiers hit a rough patch of missed shots and turnovers.
