MANHATTAN, Kan., March 5 (UPI) -- Angel Rodriguez went 8-of-13 from the field on his way to 21 points Tuesday, propelling No. 10 Kansas State over Texas Christian 79-68.
Rodriguez also handed out 10 assists while Shane Southwell and Martavious Irving provided 15 points each for the Wildcats (25-5, 14-3 Big 12), who took their sixth straight win and tied Kansas atop the Big 12 Conference with one game remaining.
Rodney McGruder also reached double figures with 13 points for KSU.
The Horned Frogs (10-20, 1-16), meanwhile, tumbled to their 16th loss in 17 contests despite 29 points from Kyan Anderson.
