CORAL GABLES, Fla., Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Shane Larkin and Kenny Kadji combined for 42 points Wednesday and helped set up No. 7 Miami for a major showdown with a 76-58 conquest of Virginia Tech.

The Hurricanes bounced back from a 15-point loss at Wake Forest last weekend, their first Atlantic Coast Conference defeat of the season, by dominating from the midway point of the first half.

Larkin scored 22 points and Kadji had six rebounds to go with his 20 points. Miami shot 50 percent from the field.

Miami improved to 23-4 for the season and is 14-1 in ACC play. Duke, which is in second place at 11-3, will host Miami Saturday.

Virginia Tech trailed by one 10 minutes deep in the game and was then outscored for the rest of the half 23-5.

The Hokies (12-16, 3-12 ACC) were led by Erick Green with 16 points.
