CINCINNATI, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Troy Daniels scored 14 of his 19 points in the second half Saturday to help rally No. 24 Virginia Commonwealth past Xavier 75-71.

Treveon Graham scored 17 for the Rams (22-6, 10-3 A-10), who wiped out a 17-point deficit during the second half.

Rob Brandenberg scored 18 and Juvonte Reddic had 10 points and nine rebounds for VCU, which leapfrogged Butler to take sole possession of second place in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Semaj Christon, Justin Martin and Isaiah Philmore scored 11 points each for the Musketeers (15-11, 8-5), who fell at home in a conference game for just the second time since 2007.
