COL BKB: Memphis 89, S. Mississippi 73

MEMPHIS, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Shaq Goodwin and Chris Crawford each scored 19 points Saturday and No. 19 Memphis beat Southern Mississippi 89-73 for its 18th straight win.

Goodwin finished with five rebounds and five assists, and D.J. Stephens scored 16 for the Tigers (24-3, 13-0 C-USA).

Joe Jackson scored 15 points for Memphis.

Dwayne Davis let the Golden Eagles (21-7, 10-3) with 28 points, and Jerrold Brooks scored 16.
