BLACKSBURG, Va., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Seth Curry hit five of Duke's 12 3-pointers Thursday and the No. 6 Blue Devils breezed to an 88-56 victory over Virginia Tech.

The Blue Devils remained the only team within shouting distance of Miami in the race for the regular-season Atlantic Coast Conference title, bouncing back from a two-point loss to Maryland last Saturday.

Curry scored 22 points, Rasheed Sulaimon added 17 for Duke and Mason Plumlee had 13 to go with 12 rebounds. The Blue Devils shot 53 percent from the floor.

Duke (23-3, 10-3 ACC) is three games behind Miami, which has yet to lose a league game.

Virginia Tech was led by 22 points from Erick Green, the leading scorer in major college basketball. The Hokies (11-15, 2-11) have lost nine in a row.
