NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Vander Blue pumped in 19 points and Davante Gardner added 18 off the bench Tuesday in 20th-ranked Marquette's 67-46 spanking of Seton Hall.

The Golden Eagles (19-6, 10-3 Big East) pulled away in the second half to post the victory, which put them alone atop the Big East standings with five games left in the regular season.

They used a tough defense to limit the Pirates (13-14, 2-12) to just 19 second-half points.

Fuquan Edwin netted 14 points in Seton Hall's loss.
