COL BKB: Notre Dame 51, Pittsburgh 42

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Jerian Grant sparked a second-half comeback Monday for No. 25 Notre Dame, which erased a 16-point deficit and posted a 51-42 win over No. 22 Pittsburgh.

Grant scored 11 of his 13 points down the stretch for the Fighting Irish (21-6, 9-5 Big East), who rebounded from a 17-point loss to Providence Saturday.

Grant made two 3-pointers during a decisive 8-0 run while Jack Cooley contributed 13 points and nine rebounds.

Eric Atkins followed with 10 points and seven assists as Notre Dame pulled to within one game of the Big East Conference leaders.

Tray Woodall scored 11 points for the Panthers (20-7, 8-6), who dropped a second straight.
