COL BKB: Louisville 59, South Florida 41

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Russ Smith went 7-of-7 from the free throw line en route to 15 points and No. 12 Louisville stayed hot with a 59-41 win over South Florida Sunday.

Wayne Blacksher and Chane Behanan each provided 12 points as the Cardinals (21-5, 9-4 Big East) triumphed for the fifth time in six contests.

Gorgui Dieng provided 10 rebounds and five blocked shots as Louisville moved 1/2 game behind Big East Conference co-leaders Syracuse, Georgetown and Marquette with the victory.

The Bulls (10-15, 1-12) were led by Jawanza Poland with 11 points.
