LAS VEGAS, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Anthony Bennett drained four 3-pointers en route to 21 points Saturday, helping Nevada-Las Vegas hold off No. 22 San Diego State 72-70.

Bennett hauled down 12 rebounds, and Khem Birch finished with 16 points, seven boards and five blocked shots for the Rebels (19-7, 6-5 MWC), who survived a late Aztecs rally to notch their second win in three games.

Chase Tapley drained a 3-pointer with 20 seconds left, pulling San Diego State (18-7, 6-5 MWC) within a point at 71-70, but the Aztecs could get no closer in dropping their second straight.

Tapley finished with 22 points and six rebounds while J.J. O'Brien had 15 points and 11 rebounds.
