COL BKB: Syracuse 76, Seton Hall 65

NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Brandon Triche pumped in a career-high 29 points Saturday, propelling seventh-ranked Syracuse past Seton Hall 76-65.

C.J. Fair had 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Orange (21-4, 9-3 Big East), who back on the winning track following a Wednesday loss to Connecticut.

Michael Carter-Williams had 14 points and nine rebounds and James Southerland came off the bench to put in 11 points for Syracuse, which forged a tie with Georgetown and Marquette atop the Big East standings.

The Pirates (13-13, 2-11) got 21 points from Fuquan Edwin.
