MILWAUKEE, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Vander Blue netted 19 points Saturday and 20th-ranked Marquette got back on the winning track with a 79-69 win over No. 17 Pittsburgh.

Davante Gardner contributed 14 points and Jamil Wilson added 13 for the Golden Eagles (18-6, 9-3 Big East), who rebounded after a Monday loss to Georgetown to sweep their season's series from Pittsburgh.

Trent Lockett also reached double figures with 11 points in the victory.

The Panthers (20-6, 8-5), meanwhile, saw their three-game winning streak snapped despite 19 points from Lamar Patterson.

Tray Woodall supplied 10 points and eight assists in the loss.
