Dad who drowned sons gets death penalty

MORAGA, Calif., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Gary Bell Jr. fired in 20 points, including four 3-pointers, and No. 3 Gonzaga stayed perfect in conference play with a 77-60 win over Saint Mary's Thursday.
Kevin Pangos added 18 points, six rebounds and three assists while Kelly Olynyk provided 17 points and seven boards for the Bulldogs (24-2, 11-0 WCC), who reeled off their seventh straight victory.
Gonzaga sank 20-of-24 foul shots and used a ballhawking defense to produce 13 steals.
Matthew Dellavedova pumped in 22 points and dished off six assists for the Gaels (21-5, 10-2), who missed a chance to forge a tie with Gonzaga atop the West Coast Conference.
Stephen Holt had 17 points and six rebounds.
