COL BKB: Northern Iowa 61, Creighton 54

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Jake Koch's double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds Wednesday helped propel Northern Iowa to a 61-54 decision over No. 23 Creighton.

The game was close in the second half until Matt Bohannon's 3-pointer with 3:16 remaining sparked an 11-3 run over the closing minutes that secured the win for the Panthers (15-11, 8-6 MVC).

Seth Tuttle supplied 12 points and five rebounds while Deon Mitchell also donated 12 points for the victors.

Doug McDermott put in 15 points and hauled down 12 rebounds for the reeling Bluejays (20-6, 9-5), who dropped their third straight.
