SOUTH BEND, Ind., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Jerian Grant put in 21 points and Jack Cooley added 16 Wednesday, enabling No. 21 Notre Dame to get past De Paul 82-78 in overtime.

Grant handed out nine assists while Cooley hauled down 10 rebounds for the Fighting Irish (20-5, 8-4 Big East), who were coming off Sunday's five-overtime marathon win over Louisville.

Notre Dame picked up its fifth win in six games overall.

Cleveland Melvin compiled 23 points and Brandon Young had 20 for the Blue Demons (10-14, 1-10).
