STORRS-MANSFIELD, Conn., Feb. 12 (UPI) -- University of Connecticut reserve center Enosch Wolf was arrested following an altercation with a female student and has been suspended from the team.

The 7-foot-1, 245-pound Wolf was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing and burglary after a woman called police to say he had allegedly shoved her and hit her head, knocking off her glasses during an altercation in an on-campus apartment, The Hartford Courant said Tuesday.

The Goettingen, Germany, native was to appear Wednesday in Rockville Superior Court to answer the charges -- the same day the Huskies are set to take on Big East rival No. 6 Syracuse.

After hardly seeing the floor in his first two seasons at UConn, Wolf worked to shed some 35 pounds prior to this season and was averaging 13 minutes per game in relief of starting center Tyler Olander. Wolf averages 3.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game this season.

The Courant said it was unclear when -- or if -- Wolf would rejoin the team.
