GAINESVILLE, Fla., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Mike Rosario struck for 18 points and Erik Murphy put in 17 more Saturday, propelling second-ranked Florida over Mississippi State 83-58.

Casey Prather added 12 points, Michael Frazier had 11 and Kenny Boynton had 10 for the Gators (19-3, 9-1 SEC), who got back on the winning track following a Tuesday loss to Arkansas. Murphy also hauled down five rebounds.

Mississippi State (7-15, 2-8) was paced by Gavin Ware with 16 points and Colin Borchert with 14.
