WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Rotnei Clarke put in 14 points and Roosevelt Jones added 12 Saturday in 14th-ranked Butler's 59-56 victory over George Washington.
Clarke contributed six rebounds and three steals while Jones supplied seven boards as Butler (20-4, 7-2 A-10) used a tough defensive effort to secure its third straight win.
Kellen Dunham came off the Bulldogs' bench to score 10 points.
The Colonials (11-11, 5-4) managed only 27.9 percent shooting from the field.
Isaiah Armwood provided 14 points and 11 rebounds for George Washington.
