COL BKB: New Mexico 81, Air Force 58

ALBUQUERQUE, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Cameron Bairstow paced a balanced New Mexico attack Wednesday and sent the No. 16 Lobos coasting to an 81-58 triumph over Air Force.

Every member of the New Mexico starting lineup reached double figures while keeping the Lobos in front in the Mountain West Conference race.

Bairstow, Alex Kirk and Tony Snell all scored 14 points while Hugh Greenwood had 13 and Kendall Williams 11.

New Mexico (20-3, 7-1 MWC) built a 13-point halftime lead, saw it cut to six early in the second half and then pulled away down the stretch.

Mike Fitzgerald and Michael Lyons both scored 16 points for Air Force (14-7, 5-3).
