LUBBOCK, Texas, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Rodney McGruder and Angel Rodriguez teamed up for 31 points Tuesday, propelling No. 15 Kansas State to a 68-59 defeat of Texas Tech.

McGruder provided 18 points with nine rebounds while Angel Rodriguez added 13 points for the Wildcats (18-4, 7-2 Big 12).

The triumph was the third straight for KSU following a two-game losing streak.

Texas Tech (9-11, 2-7) was led by Jordan Tolbert with 19 points.
