PITTSBURGH, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Lamar Patterson's double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds Monday boosted co-No. 25 Pittsburgh to a 56-46 victory over Seton Hall.

The Panthers (19-5, 7-4 Big East) stayed hot with their sixth win in seven games with the help of Steven Adams, who provided added eight points and a career-high 15 rebounds.

Fuquan Edwin drained a trio of 3-pointers en route to 23 points for the Pirates (13-10, 2-8).

The loss was the eighth in nine contests for Seton Hall.
