COL BKB: Louisville 70, Marquette 51

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Russ Smith and Peyton Siva teamed up for 32 points Sunday and 13th-ranked Louisville rolled to a 70-51 win over No. 25 Marquette.

Smith provided 18 points and five rebounds while Siva contributed 14 points and seven assists for the Cardinals (18-4, 6-3 Big East), who shot 51.9 percent from the field in winning their second straight following a three-game skid.

Gorgui Dieng chipped in with eight points and eight boards for Louisville.

Vander Blue finished with 17 points and Trent Lockett supplied 16 as the Golden Eagles (15-5, 6-2) lost for the second time in four contests.
