COL BKB: Cincinnati 65, Seton Hall 59

NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Sean Kilpatrick scored 21 points Saturday to lead 23rd-ranked Cincinnati past Seton Hall 65-59.

Kilpatrick took 15 of his 19 shots in the game from outside the 3-point arc and hit five of them, including one from the corner with 1:57 to play that broke a streak of 14 consecutive missed shots by the Bearcats (18-4, 6-3 Big East).

Cashmere Wright added 17 points and JaQuon Parker scored nine for Cincinnati, which has won five of its last six games.

Brandon Mobley and Fuquan Edwin both scored 16 for Seton Hall (13-9, 2-7), which has lost three consecutive games.

Cincinnati held a 33-28 lead at the intermission, thanks to 12 points from Kilpatrick, who also hit a pair of threes during a 15-0 run to start the second half.

The Pirates clawed back with a 20-4 run but could not get past the visitors in the stretch.
