COL BKB: Miami (Fla.) 73, Va. Tech 64

BLACKSBURG, Va., Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Shane Larkin ignited a Miami comeback Wednesday that kept the 15th-ranked Hurricanes unbeaten in the ACC with a 73-64 decision over Virginia Tech.

The Hokies led by as many as 12 points in the first half, but they managed only one point over the final 4:30 of the period and saw their halftime lead cut to three.

Miami then took over in the second half with Larkin scoring 25 points and Kenny Kadji adding 18. It was the eighth straight win for the Hurricanes (16-3, 7-0 ACC), who have a two-game lead over Duke and Virginia in the conference race.

Virginia Tech (11-9, 2-5) has lost three in a row after capturing two straight. The Hokies were led by Erick Green with 30 points.
