CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Joe Harris put in 22 points and Jontel Evans supplied two key free throws late in the game Tuesday, boosting Virginia over No. 19 North Carolina State 58-55.

Akil Mitchell provided 14 points and 12 rebounds as the Cavaliers (15-5, 5-2 ACC) recorded their fourth straight victory.

The Wolfpack (16-5, 5-3) got 20 points and 14 rebounds from C.J. Leslie but couldn't avoid falling to 0-5 all-time at the 6-year-old John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville.

Richard Howell scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for N.C. State.
