MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Rodney Williams scored 23 points Tuesday to lead 24th-ranked Minnesota past Nebraska 84-65 and snap the Gophers' four-game losing streak.

Andre Hollins scored 14 for Minnesota (16-5, 4-4 Big Ten) and Austin Hollins chipped in 13.

Ray Gallegos led Nebraska (11-11, 2-7) with 30 points and Brandon Libel scored 13. The Cornhuskers shot 54.5 percent from the field on 43 shots, but Minnesota shot a not-too-shabby 54.2 percent and took 59 shots.

Minnesota overcame a wobbly 4-of-12 from the free throw line and out-rebounded Nebraska 34-17.
