
AMES, Iowa, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Will Clyburn provided a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds Saturday, powering Iowa State to a 73-67 defeat of 13th-ranked Kansas State.
Georges Niang put in 15 points while Korie Lucious added 10 with eight assists as the Cyclones (14-5, 4-2 Big 12) bounced back from a loss to Texas Tech earlier this week and reeled off their 18th straight home win.
Tyrus McGee (11 points off the bench) and Melvin Ejim (six, 10 rebounds) were also instrumental as Iowa State won for the fourth time in five games overall.
Kansas State (15-4, 4-2) was paced by Will Spradling with 15 points.
Rodney McGruder (13 points, seven rebounds) and Shane Southwell (11) also reached double figures for the Wildcats, who dropped their second straight.
