COL BKB: Florida 82, Mississippi State 47

STARKVILLE, Miss., Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Kenny Boynton and Erik Murphy kept seventh-ranked Florida hot Saturday, netting 18 points apiece in the Gators' 82-47 win over Mississippi State.

Murphy hauled down six rebounds. Patric Young hit all six of his shots from the field en route to 13 points and added six boards as Florida (16-2, 6-0 SEC) reeled off its eighth straight victory.

Scottie Wilbekin chipped in with 13 points and nine assists for the Gators.

Fred Thomas led the Bulldogs (7-11, 2-4) with 19 points and seven steals. Colin Borchert scored 10 points for Mississippi State.
