RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Darien Brothers saved Richmond with a 3-pointer at the end of regulation Thursday and the Spiders dominated overtime to down No. 16 Virginia Commonwealth 86-74.

Richmond rallied to a seven-point lead in the second period, fell behind by seven in the closing minute and then staged a stunning comeback to forge a 69-69 tie.
