LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Shabazz Muhammad poured in 21 points Thursday in helping No. 25 UCLA power to its 10th straight win, a 74-64 decision over Oregon State.

The Bruins led by 20 points early in the second half and easily held on to remain unbeaten in the new year. UCLA's last loss came Dec. 1, when San Diego State downed the Bruins by nine.

Muhammad missed the early portion of the season because of NCAA concerns about his eligibility, but he has averaged 18 points a contest in the 15 games he has played. He went 8-of-14 from the field against the Beavers and hit three 3-pointers.

Oregon State's chances were sharply diminished after the Beavers managed only two points during the last 3 minutes of the first half and the first 4 minutes of the second.

Travis Wear and Kyle Anderson both scored 17 points for the Bruins (15-3, 5-0 Pacific-12 Conference).

Oregon State (10-7, 0-4) was led by Roberto Nelson's 17 points.
