LAS VEGAS, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Bryce Dejean-Jones sank the go-ahead basket with 16 seconds left in overtime Saturday and No. 19 Nevada-Las Vegas hung on for a 74-71 win over Air Force.

Dejean-Jones netted 16 of his 18 points in the second half, including his open jumper late in overtime that put UNLV (14-3, 1-1 MWC) ahead to stay.

Anthony Bennett put in 22 points and hauled down 16 rebounds while Mike Moser added 14 and 11 as the Rebels rebounded from a loss to New Mexico Wednesday in their previous game.

Mike Fitzgerald popped in 22 points for the Falcons (9-5, 1-1), who came close to breaking a 10-game losing streak to UNLV but came up a bit short.
