SOUTH BEND, Ind., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Shabazz Napier had 19 points, five rebounds and four assists Saturday and Connecticut snapped No. 16 Notre Dame's 12-game winning streak with a 65-58 win.
Tyler Olander had 16 points and seven rebounds, and Ryan Boatright had 14 points and five assists for the Huskies (12-3, 2-1 Big East), who claimed their sixth win in seven games.
Eric Atkins scored 18 points and Jack Cooley had 14 points and nine boards for Notre Dame (14-2, 2-1), who sustained their first loss since Nov. 16.
