COL BKB: Arizona 80, Oregon State 70

CORVALLIS, Ore., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Mark Lyons and Solomon Hill each pumped in 16 points Saturday and third-ranked Arizona sped past Oregon State 80-70.

Lyons added five rebounds and five assists while Hill supplied six rebounds as the Wildcats (15-1, 3-1 Pac 12) got back on the winning track following their first loss of the season Thursday at Oregon.

Nick Johnson (14 points, six boards, five assists) and Brandon Ashley (12, seven rebounds) also reached double figures for Arizona.

The Beavers (10-6, 0-3) were paced by Ahmad Starks with 18 points.

Roberto Nelson and Joe Burton donated 15 each in the loss.
